Story
King Maximilian XIII is dying and there is in-fighting amongst his relatives as to who will be his beneficiary. The hard Count Rudolph drops the other contenders to join himself in place. The washer woman’s daughter Bella is in the woods looking for herbs when the fabulous beast that is said to walk the area looks and fires an arrow to kill a wolf that is about to hit her. When Count Rudolph catches Bella’s story, he performs her follow him on research for the Beast. The magician Lady Helen threatens Rudolph and tries to make him king if he will take her as his friend. She asks a troll by means magical and transfers it to murder people in the village. The Beast is charged for the crimes. Bella concludes to study, following evidence to discover The Beast in the forest. She realizes that it is personal and delicate but has a ghastly face, which it protects from the villagers. It rejects all understanding of the killings. Rudolph and Helen accompany further killings and attempt to have The Beast blamed and then performed for these.
